Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

TELETELO (“TELETELO”, “we”, “us”) provides a cloud phone service: you rent a phone number and use it to make and receive calls and text messages from the TELETELO app at teletelo.digiringo.com and the TELETELO Android app.

This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the website, the mobile app, and the API behind them.

The short version. We collect only what is needed to run a phone service and bill you for it. We do not sell your personal information, we do not use your call or message content for advertising, and we only share data with the providers that carry your calls, process your payments, and measure our own ads.

1. Information we collect

a) Information you give us

b) Information created by using the service

c) Information collected automatically

We do not collect your device contacts, photos, precise location, or the content of anything outside the TELETELO app.

2. Why we use it

We do not sell or rent your data, and we never use your calls or messages for advertising. The Android app reports a few app events (such as sign-up and purchase) to Google Analytics for Firebase so we can measure our own ad campaigns.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers needed to operate TELETELO, and only what each one needs:

We may also disclose information where legally required — a valid court order, subpoena or lawful carrier/regulator request — or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

If TELETELO is ever involved in a merger or acquisition, your information may transfer to the successor, which remains bound by this policy.

4. How long we keep it

5. Deleting your data

To delete your entire account and the personal data in it, email support@teletelo.digiringo.com from your registered address with the subject “Delete my account”. You can also ask us to delete specific data only — messages, call history or voicemail recordings — while keeping your account, with the subject “Delete my data”.

We confirm your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days. Deleting your account releases any phone numbers you rent (they cannot be recovered afterwards) and cancels active plans. Billing records are retained as described above; everything else is removed.

Full instructions and exactly what is deleted or kept: teletelo.digiringo.com/delete-account.

6. Security

All traffic between your device and TELETELO is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are stored as salted hashes and never in readable form. Card details never touch our servers. Access to production systems is restricted to the people who operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify affected users promptly if a breach involving personal data occurs.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Exercise any of these by writing to support@teletelo.digiringo.com. We do not discriminate against users who exercise these rights.

TELETELO does not sell personal information. The Android app shares limited app-event data with Google to measure our own ad campaigns (see section 3); you can limit this with your device's advertising-ID settings.

8. Children

TELETELO is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have, we delete it.

9. International transfers

Our servers and providers are located in the United States and Europe. If you use TELETELO from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in those countries, which may have different data-protection laws than yours.

10. Messaging consent

You are responsible for the messages you send through TELETELO, including obtaining the consent required by law (TCPA, CTIA guidelines and carrier rules) from the people you message, and honouring STOP/opt-out requests. Accounts used for spam or unlawful messaging are suspended.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change significantly affects you, notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
